Easy Visa Checklist
1. Your Passport
- Must be valid for at least 6 months from your travel date.
- Example: Traveling on July 1, 2026 → passport must be valid until at least January 1, 2027.
- Should have at least 2 blank pages for stamps.
2. Visa Application Form
- Fill it out completely, sign it, and use black ink pens only.
- Some countries have online forms—make sure to print a copy if required.
3. Photos
- Usually 2–4 passport-sized photos. Label and write your name at the back of the photo.
- Check the embassy’s requirements carefully:
- Must show ears, no earrings, no smiling.
- Plain background, neat appearance (collared shirts with sleeves), no selfies.
4. Travel Details and Purpose of Visit
- Round-trip flight tickets or booking confirmation.
- Hotel or accommodation info.
- Day-to-day itinerary / travel plan—even a simple schedule works.
- Include a short explanation of your visit: dates, places, and activities.
5. Financial Support
- Bank statements (ADB) last 3–6 months.
- Rule of thumb: account balance should exceed your total travel cost.
- Employees: recent payslips or proof of income.
- Students/minors: Affidavit of support from parents/guardians.
- Business owners: Financial Statements, ITR, permits, licenses.
- Shows you can support yourself (or your family) while traveling.
6. Travel Insurance
- Some countries require insurance covering medical emergencies.
- Double-check the minimum coverage amount required by the embassy. Peace of mind for you and the embassy.
7. Work/School Documents
- Employees: Certificate of employment & approved leave.
- Students: Enrollment or school ID.
- Business owners: Business documents such as Financial Statements, ITR, permits, licenses.
8. Visa Fee Payment
- Keep the receipt—you’ll need it when submitting your documents.
9. Extra Documents/Proof of Ties
- Invitation letter from family/friends abroad (if visiting).
- Proof of ties to the Philippines:
- PSA birth certificate, marriage certificate, property ownership, or other evidence showing you’ll return.
